CBD is regulated separately from cannabis nearly everywhere, and the two frameworks frequently point in different directions.
Some countries permit hemp-derived CBD below a THC threshold and sell it openly in ordinary shops. Others classify any cannabis-derived product as controlled regardless of THC content, which makes a legally purchased CBD oil an offence on arrival.

The thresholds also differ. A product compliant at one limit can be non-compliant a few hundred kilometres away, and lab variance means a product marketed as compliant is not always compliant when tested.
For travel, the safe approach is to leave CBD products at home unless you have verified the destination rule specifically. “It is only CBD” is not a defence anyone at a border has to accept.

Finally a site that explains the difference between decriminalised and legal properly. Saved me from a very expensive mistake at the airport.
Prices were slightly higher than listed in the tourist areas, which is exactly what the page said would happen.
The scam warnings are worth the visit alone. Got approached exactly the way this page described, walked on, no problem.
Been using these guides for every trip this year. Straight facts, no hype, and the price ranges have been accurate everywhere I have checked them.
Appreciate that this is purely informational. No shop, no pressure, just what you actually need to know.
Well researched and easy to read. The at-a-glance box is exactly what I wanted before landing.
