Cannabis pricing varies more than almost any other consumer good, and the reasons are structural rather than random.
Regulated markets price tightly. Supply is licensed, competition is visible, tax is fixed and published, and prices cluster. Unregulated markets price by relationship: what you pay reflects how well the seller knows you and how much they think you know.

That is why the tourist premium exists everywhere. A visitor is a one-time transaction with no reputational cost attached, so the quote reflects what the seller believes they can get, not what the market rate is.
Local production matters too. Where cannabis is grown nearby, flower is cheaper and hashish is rare. Where everything is imported, hashish dominates and prices track the cost of moving it.

Our country and city guides publish realistic ranges for exactly this reason: knowing the number in advance is the most effective negotiating position available to anyone.

What readers say
I read the etiquette section before arriving and it was spot on. Locals really are more discreet than visitors expect.
Been using these guides for every trip this year. Straight facts, no hype, and the price ranges have been accurate everywhere I have checked them.
Finally a site that explains the difference between decriminalised and legal properly. Saved me from a very expensive mistake at the airport.
Good balanced write-up. Would have liked a bit more on CBD rules, but the legal summary matched what I was told on the ground.
Used this to plan a three-country trip. Comparing the pages side by side made the differences obvious.
Solid harm-reduction advice. The dosage section on edibles should be required reading.
